2011 WPIAL GIRLS SOCCER PLAYOFFS:
The round of eight is nearly set after the curtain came up Saturday afternoon on the start of the 2011 WPIAL Girls Soccer Playoffs. It was a banner day for #10-seeds as all three of them eliminated the #7-seeds. The lowest seed to advance to round two was 13th-seed Elizabeth Forward, as they upset #4 Southmoreland in Class AA opening round action.
