Chadd Moros is a Junior at Greensburg Central Catholic
this year and is a starting forward on the GCC Boys Soccer
Team (which has one the WPIAL championship for the last 2
years). Having lettered his sophomore year, Chadd is hoping
to assist this team (as they took a pretty significant hit
this year; having graduated about a dozen Senior players
last spring) to their 3rd consecutive WPIAL championship
and hopefully on to States.
Chadd has been playing soccer since he was 6 years old,
having started in the "in house" program at Greensburg
Recreation. At the age of 9, he and 3 boys from various
other teams came in 2nd place in the 3v3 tournament in
their age bracket at Turner Valley (Norwin Soccer) and
qualified for regionals in Philadelphia that summer. He
moved on to play with Latrobe Recreation, Greensburg
Traveling, Mt Pleasant Traveling (his U-14 team were
Division 1 Champs), Aquinas Academy and this past Spring
played for both Pittsburgh Football Club and Loyalhanna
United. Playing thru both Bronchitis and Mononucleosis,
his PFC team came in 2nd place at the Queen City Tournament
in Cincinatti, OH Memorial Day weekend.
In addition to soccer, Chadd holds down a part time job
at TGiFriday's in Greensburg, volunteers for the Maji
Ministry and the Salvation Army Christmas programs, is
a big brother to siblings Cameron and Chase, and is a
solid student.
Playing with a fractured wrist for several weeks this season,
Chadd was undaunted and is striving to break GCC's all time
record for assists.

| How to Get Your Student in the Spotlight |
|
Balancing sports, schoolwork, and other activities is one of your
child's greatest challenges. We at MSA Sports would like to
spotlight some of these students who do just that - and do it WELL!
Parents, teachers, family members and friends, we need your help
identifying students to feature in the Student Athlete Spotlight.
Send a photograph of the student, along with some biographical
information. Student bio should be brief (2 or 3 paragraphs) and
include sport played and position, academic and other honors, GPA,
extracurricular activities, and any other information that helps to
showcase the achievements and character of this student athlete.
Once your child is selected we will send you a permission form to
allow us to post the student's picture and profile. Please
use this form to submit a student
for consideration.
