MSA Sports at Kennywood Park on July 30th
Join the MSA Sports Network and ESPN Radio 1250 at Kennywood Park on July 30th for the Kennywood High School Football Kickoff. Both MSA Sports and ESPN 1250 will be announcing the winners of the first annual Kennywood Preseason All Star Team. This event filled day will begin at 10 am with a live broadcast of ESPN's Guy Junker and Eddie Crow Show at the Kennyville Stage. At 3pm, the Kennywood Preseason All Star Team will be announced at the Kennyville Stage area. Wrapping up the day will be a live broadcast of MSA Sports "This Week in the WPIAL" show from the Kennyville Stage beginning at 6pm. What better way to get "pumped up" for another exciting year of High School Football!
2008 WPIAL Schedules: Girls Soccer
While South Park successfully defended their WPIAL Class AA girls soccer crown last year, it was a first fitting for Seneca Valley, as the Raiders captured gold in the 2007 WPIAL Class AAA soccer championship. The success for local schools continued in the PIAA state playoffs as both Penn-Trafford in AAA and South Park in AA made it to the finals in Hershey. While the Warriors settled for silver after losing in the finals, the Eagles came home as co-champs after playing to a tie in the AA title match. The start of the 2007 high school soccer season begins on Friday, August 29th - and MSA Sports has the upcoming WPIAL girls soccer schedules.

FRIDAY ON MSA SPORTS
A combination of pro and amateur baseball take center stage Friday here on the MSA Sports Network. The Washington Wild Things tyr to make it two in a row at Traverse City as they battle the Beach Bums, plus more action from the Freeport Invitational Baseball Tournament as host freeport takes on Australia in Palomino League action here on the MSA Sports Network.

WPIAL Coaching Changes: Neshannock and Mapletown Boys Hoops
One school is near the northern most point of the WPIAL while the other is near the southern most point of District 7. Besides geography, another thing that Neshannock and Mapletown do not have in common is one school has a new boys basketball coach while the other school now has a vacancy at that position.

Another Golf Title for Waynesburg's Rohanna
Rachel Rohanna of Waynesburg has racked up many honors over the last few years and added another title to her collection this past week. Rohanna bested players from 20 states, Canada and Thailand to win the American Junior Golf Association Tournament at the New Castle Country Club.

Riverhounds Sweep Weekend With Win Over Baltimore
The Pittsburgh Riverhounds beat Crystal Palace Baltimore 2-1 at Chartiers Valley Stadium Sunday night as Thabiso "Boyzzz" Khumalo scored his third goal of the weekend; a game-winner in the 73rd minute, just one minute after the Palace tied the game.
