The only WPIAL baseball team to make it to the state finals are coming home with silver after Beaver fell to Loyalsock Township in the PIAA AA championship game.

Golden Big Macs

It took 12 Innings, but Canon-McMillan outlasted Neshaminy 4-3 Friday afternoon to win the Big Macs first ever PIAA Softball Championship after back-to-back District 7 titles.

Not So Perfect Panthers

Riverside finished the 2013 season with a record of 22-1, but that lone loss came Friday in the PIAA Class AA softball title game as the Panthers bring home state silver.
